I use lemon juice once daily with a cotton ball it works great for oily skin acne acne scars and brown spots/freckles
Vitamin c is a natural skin lightener and brightener its natural and definetly affordable I love it my skin looks great

I was thinking of purchasing this hair straightener for my sister as a birthday present but I'm not sure if its any good. Has anyone used it before and if you have can you tell me if its any good.

No doubt about it, we’ve all heard the adage of “inner beauty” being better than being attracted to someone because of his/her looks.
I’m an “advocate” of inner beauty being that I’m plus size and 80 lbs. overweight (that figures) and yes, guys still talk to me (I did lose 20-30 lbs. and I watch what I eat and I exercise regularly).
For those of you who do live by the “inner beauty” adage, do you also believe that people should improve their lifestyles by eating well and exercising on a daily basis? Even though I am a believer in inner beauty, I also take care of myself and watch what I eat and exercise on a regular basis as I mentioned earlier.
So what do you all think?
Inner beauty has nothing to do with your diet, it’s your outlook on life. Inner beauty is that look of serenity and the sparkling in your eye. Of course if you couple this with outer beauty, kidoo, your unbeatable. I know lot’s of plump people who are gorgeous. A secretary of mine used to say her boyfriend wanted her “griffig” (German for palpable, but nicer), so she definitely could not go on a diet. Try being selective about what you eat, so the much needed quantities don’t bloat you. Then look at a few Rubens paintings, lots of pounds there.

A FAMILY MEMBER WHO HAS EXTREMELY LONG, COLOR TREATED, DAMAGED HAIR, AND SHE IS IN A DRUG TREATMENT FACILITY AND CANNOT HAVE ANY HEALTH AND BEAUTY AID PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN ALCOHOL….(everything has alcohol in it…..everything). SHE IS GOING TO HAVE TO CUT OFF HER HAIR IF I CAN'T GET HER SOMETHING SOON.
I know, I know, it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. The staff says none of the products can contain any alcohol of any kind. Nothing. I KNOW the alcohol in health and beauty aids products is NOT the kind….but they send home ever product I buy. When we admitted her in the facility, they said no products with any kind of alcohol in the first 4 ingredients on the back of the bottle. Then they said 7 ingredients, now they say no alcohol at ALL. I bought some Biolage leave-in conditioner for $14.95, and it had alcohol as the 8th ingredient, and they said she couldn't have it……it's ridiculous!!!! I am so frustrated……….

My hair is getting too dry. Best advice. I have great skin and don't need any other help. but find hair is getting to dry.

I am considering retiring in Arkansas (from Kansas City, MO). Things that are important to me are low cost of living, quality housing, an area near or in proximity of a decent sized city (10,000+), near good transportation infrastructure, availability of cultural activities and restaurants, good health care, and natural beauty (including lots of trees).
If you know of any good locations, or good places to live regardless of "retirement" designation. What are the best? Does anybody have any experience living in Bella Vista?
Hot Springs Village near Hot Springs National Park, with its infamous Bathhouse Row, is a popular retirement destination, as is Eureka Springs, which is a picturesque little town in northwest Arkansas.

Like what things do you regret doing or wish you had done when you were younger that affect your health or beauty now? You know things such as cracking your knuckles, not using aging cream. What things should I start doing now to prevent these things when i'm older?
Not knowing I had celiac disease though I kept trying for about 10 years before I finally figured it out myself and demanded testing. If you think something is wrong health-wise, never give up!
Wish they had invented sunscreen earlier and I had done less tanning (not on purpose, I'm just active). I look good for my age, but I could have used sunscreen a lot sooner!
Use sunscreen, eat well, enjoy your life. You only get one, so enjoy the journey!
